Our History
The journey of BIO (Bonyan Idea Organic Co.) began in 2020 with the partnership of Dr. Amin Purfard and Engineer Mona Khezr. This collaboration ignited groundbreaking research that led to the development of plant-derived antibacterial nanoparticles—safe, potent antimicrobial compounds that are both human- and eco-friendly.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we harnessed these innovative nanoparticles to create the first entirely herbal, alcohol-free hand sanitizer, contributing significantly to public health efforts. Building on this success, we expanded our portfolio to include antibacterial sterile gauze, topical pain relief gels, and wound disinfectant sprays—products designed to tackle the most urgent healthcare challenges of our time.
In 2022, we reached a pivotal milestone with the United States patent for our flagship product: antibacterial hydrogel dressings infused with plant-based nanoparticles. This achievement marked a turning point in our mission to revolutionize wound care.
By 2023, we had optimized the final version of our hydrogel dressings and advanced clinical studies to phase two in Iran. Alongside this, our commitment to sustainability led to the adoption of a zero-waste production process, significantly enhancing our manufacturing efficiency and capacity.
